Frostbite safety
Community Guidelines
Simple rules for sharing skating experiences safely and respectfully.
Share responsibly
Only share content you have the right to use and are comfortable making visible.
Respect others
Do not use profile pictures, journals, or skill demos to harm, exploit, or harass anyone.
Report concerns
Report a user, journal entry, or skill demo when it may violate these Guidelines.
Content Covered by These Guidelines
Frostbite’s user-generated content currently consists of profile pictures, journal entries and coach notes, and skill demonstration videos (“skill demos”). These Guidelines also apply to profile-related behavior connected with those features.
Profile pictures and skill demos may be visible to other users depending on account, approval, and privacy settings. Journal entries may contain personal or sensitive information. Review your privacy settings carefully and avoid including information you do not want other people to see.
Content and Conduct We Do Not Allow
- Harassment or abuse: bullying, stalking, targeted harassment, sexual harassment, or intimidation.
- Hate or discrimination: hateful or discriminatory content targeting a person or protected group.
- Threats, violence, or crime: credible threats, graphic violence, incitement, promotion of crime, or attempts to compromise another person’s safety.
- Sexual or nude content: nudity, pornography, sexual exploitation, or any sexual content involving minors.
- Illegal or harmful content: encouragement of self-harm, dangerous conduct, exploitation, trafficking, or other unlawful material.
- Spam or platform misuse: spam, scams, malicious links, malware, fake accounts, or manipulation of Frostbite’s reporting or safety systems.
- Privacy violations or impersonation: doxxing, identity theft, impersonation, or sharing private or sensitive information without permission.
- Intellectual-property violations: content you do not own or have permission to upload, including another person’s image or video where consent is required.
- Other violations: other content or conduct that violates Frostbite’s Terms, these Guidelines, or applicable law.
Reporting
You may use Frostbite’s available in-app controls to report a user, including their profile picture or profile-related behavior, an individual journal entry, or an individual skill demo. Include enough information to identify the concern and help Frostbite investigate. Knowingly false, abusive, or retaliatory reports may themselves violate these Guidelines.
Reports may be reviewed by authorized Frostbite administrators or moderators. Frostbite does not guarantee that all user-generated content is accurate or appropriate, or that every report will result in immediate removal.
Enforcement
Profile pictures are subject to automated nudity screening and may also be manually reviewed or removed. Frostbite does not currently claim automated moderation of journal entries or skill demos.
Depending on the circumstances, Frostbite administrators or moderators may remove a profile picture, journal entry, or skill demo; limit access to a feature; warn or restrict a user; suspend an account; or permanently ban an account. Frostbite may take action even when no report has been submitted. We may consider the content, context, severity, applicable law, prior violations, and risk to users or the public.
Appealing a Suspension or Ban
If your account is suspended or permanently banned, you may appeal by emailing [email protected] from the email address associated with your Frostbite account. You do not need to be logged in. Include your account email address, Frostbite username, and an explanation of why you believe the restriction is incorrect. Appeals are reviewed manually, and Frostbite will respond within a reasonable timeframe when possible.
Safety Contact
For a safety or moderation concern, use the available in-app report control or email [email protected]. Include your Frostbite username and enough context to investigate, but never send your password, access token, or two-factor authentication code. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
